We certainly did enjoy the Virtual Tour Guide!
It gave us a lot of extra information about Yellowstone that made our experience more enjoyable.
Our kids also enjoyed it and it kept them off the ipods

We loved the accurate, informative and often funny information that was provided. We made the most of our three days at Grand Teton and Yellowstone .... no doubt about it. We took the advice whenever possible, and we appreciated the guidance about what we "must see", and what we could do "if we had the time". There is so much to see in these parks, it's good to have some advice the help manage the available time. We appreciated the mixture of old stories, new stories, wildlife information and the geological information. If it were a friend of mine I would guarantee it for them. I would tell them that if they didn't like it I would pay for it, that's how much it adds to the experience of seeing and learning about Yellowstone. I have told my friends and coworkers about the Virtual Tour Guide and said if they went and got a unit and didn't think it was well worth it, I would pick up the tab. The history and info Steve provides is just what we were looking for. It is definitely like having your very own personal tour guide who knows everything about the park.
This was money very well spent! We would have missed so much had we not had your tour guide. We loved hearing all the info on all the park features, even though we had a great book along with us. We found trails that the book did not even tell us about. We also enjoyed the MPS player guitar music in between the narrations and the FM modulator so that we could listen to the guide through our vehicle speakers. We were also able to use the GPS feature as we went into Cody and liked the fact that we could turn in the GPS in another location than where we rented it so that we did not have to spend precious time backtracking.  Chuck and Gail K.

I strongly recommend the GPS tour of Yellowstone. It’s available at the front desk and just plugs into your cigarette lighter, sticks to your windshield and off you go. If you need help, just ask any one of the friendly staff. The voice prompts give you a private tour of Yellowstone with plenty of information that made our trip even more interesting. There are plenty of tips on often overlooked turn-outs throughout the park and even lets you know when you are approaching an area known for a particular animal. Additionally, there is an option for the GPS to play very soothing music that fits well with the tour. We especially liked the GPS tour we could move at our own pace and if we weren’t interested in a certain attraction, we just didn’t stop, unlike when on a bus tour. It was well worth the $50 for 24 hours.

The fact that you identified the must see items. I saw things I had no idea they were there.

Informative, great speaker for family to listen to, effective for any time schedule. Stories and History they were great.  Do it - you don't know what you are missing until you use the Virtual Tour Guide. This was a wonderful tool. Traveling with my elderly mother who has difficulty hearing we were able to hear, see, and learn more about the park than we had ever expected.

"If we hadn't rented this Virtual Tour Guide, we would have missed soooooooooo much at Yellowstone. Other guided tours rush you through and you have to meet their schedule, with this tour guide, you set your own time table, so if you want to spend more time at one site, you can.

"I've been through the park numerous times, but having your virtual tour along for the ride made it an entirely new experience! This trip I had brought along my 82 year old mother from California on this trip. We were able to go through the park at our own pace, stop/get out when we wanted to, and thoroughly enjoyed knowing WHAT we were seeing, learning the history of the park, and trying to guess the answers to your trivia! We wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our Virtual Tour!  After talking to you the night before, we decided to "go it alone" and entered the park on the West Yellowstone side.  BORING!  After we took the Riverside Drive on the left, we immediately turned around and came and got your GPS guide.
